LG G7 ThinQ set for launch on May 2nd, official Media renders gets leaked
It’s become habitual for smartphones to have shown nearly in its entirety before the official launching really happens. We’ve seen that happen with the Galaxy S9 in recent days and the newest LG G7 ThinQ is your latest to conform to this trend. So while LG has confirmed the introduction of the G7 to take place on May 2 in an event in New York, here’s a short overview of what the newest leak has shown.
What’s being discussed here is the official media render of the forthcoming LG flagship that Android Headlines have got hold of. No wonder there’s an abundance of official information that’s come to the fore though most of this largely confirms what we already know through previous escapes.
One of everything else that the leaked media renders have revealed comprise the color choices you’ll have with the phone. And it’s quite a vibrant palette out there what with the G7 set to be accessible Raspberry Rose, Moroccan Blue with glossy finish, Moroccan Blue (Matte), Platinum Grey, and Aurora Black.
While black is the most common colour for smart phones, Raspberry Rose does seem stunning and fresh, to say the least. Unfortunately, it’s again Black that are the most common and is very likely to be widely available in many areas. Other more exotic colour choices may be limited to certain areas of the world only.
The images also show the notch though interestingly, the screen does not actually extend all of the way to the borders. Instead, while there’s a little chin in the base, the top also has a thin bezel with the central part culminating to a notch. Wonder why LG chosen for the controversial design motif when it could adapt the detectors and camera inside the top bezel itself. There’s a wide ranging feeling contrary to the elite among smartphone buyers since Apple introduced it with the iPhone X.
The back meanwhile hosts the vertically aligned double camera lenses using the circular fingerprint detector positioned just beneath it. Flanked on the face of the camera is the LED flash while the camera also is thought to feature f/1.5 aperture. Other bits and pieces that we know of this G7 comprise a Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled to a 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of starting storage choice.
